Our Urban Stone premium finish is manufactured on site, and is a 4 coat, 10+ step system, using cutting edge technology in the top latyer of high quality polyaspartic resin, and vinyl flake. Flakes or fleck, are specially formulated paint aggregates used to enhance the aesthetic qualities of seamless, resin-based chip/flake flooring systems. This makes Urban Stone a perfect garage flooring solution.

This unique product is random in shape – and even though other flake floors may look the same, the cheaper floors are inferior by way of;

• overall durability,
• impact, scratch, peeling and cracking resistance
• Resistance to petrochemicals and oil spills.
• Only 0.25 of a millimeter compared to our 2mm floors and
• use poorer quality materials.

Sized within a standardized range, with many colour options to choose from they can be either smooth or rougher to incorporate a non-slip element.

Apart from the specialised workmanship and highest quality materials, we create a floor that is 2 millimetres thick. That’s up to 8 times thicker than cheaper floors.

One way we achieve this is by what’s called a broadcast to rejection process. It means we keep applying flake on the floor until it simply won’t take any more, completely blanketing the epoxy layer in flake and then applying polyurethane in the final coat.

Cheaper floors cut corners by sprinkling flake on cheap epoxy for decoration. This cheaper process does not actually contribute to the strength of the floor at all.
